Chromatic Characterization of Organic Compounds

A variety of research chromatographic capabilities are available within the team:

  • Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) to characterize macromolecules;
  • High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for separation of nonvolatile compounds;
  • Gas Chromatography (GC) for separation of volatile organic compounds;
  • and Ion Chromatography (IC) for small ionic material characterization such as organic acids, oxyanions and cations.
